Hawaiian Treasure

A Hawaiian holiday is a dream-come-true for many.  What is it in this motley collection of isles that fascinate people so much?  When one thinks of the Hawaiian isles, fresh air and flowers immediately come to mind.  Then warm and peaceful seas.  It helps that the people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the natural environment is utterly breathtaking!

No wonder that tourism is brisk in Hawaii.  Even Hollywood celebrities come and go in Hawaii and many even have their homes there.  Elvis Presley loved the islands so much that he kept coming back up until he died.  President Barack Obama goes there for some R&R, and Hollywood darlings Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz have their own hideaways tucked somewhere secluded and away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

While you dream of Hawaii and save up for a vacation there in the future, how about acquiring a piece of jewelry that is so tangibly Hawaiian it looks like you already came from a Hawaiian vacation when you wear it?  This bracelet/anklet jewelry is made of Hawaiian hemp.  Hemp is hand-knotted into a sturdy rope wherein real sea-shells ride together with a single exotic pink Plumeria flower.  Hemp, by the way, is an environment-friendly jewelry material -- it uses no pesticides and herbicides.  Plumeria are fragrant flowers common in Hawaii.  The flower in this piece of jewelry is designed from poly clay.
